KRIS ASHTON is fast making a name for himself as one of Australia's hottest speculative fiction writers. ROB BROOKS has had speculative poetry published on-line at Scifaikuest, Chimaera Serials, and Daikaijuzine. He lives in Indiana with his wife and children, but he prefers that you don't just drop in. Instead, you can just contact him at www.robbrooksfirstnovel.blogspot.com

CHRISTOPHER K. BURCH has been writing for the better part of the decade, but "The Nature of the Job" is his second published work. His first was "For What Purpose," which was graciously featured within the pages of A Thousand Faces #2. The biggest influences on Chris' writing are coffee, cigarettes, and a generous portion of cosmic dust. When cosmic dust doesn't work, a sampling of Grant Morrison's comic work is enough to stimulate his brain. Chris has two children who attempt to foil his daily writing exercises without fail, and a wife who is his personal editor and muse. Next on Chris' writing to-do list is a horror-themed web comic, and a new short work featuring heroes and villains doing what they do best.
